Do you have room in your heart and home to provide temporary care for a rescued shelter pet? For every pet that is fostered, another life can be saved. NCHS covers all veterinary expenses, pet medications, food, and supplies; as needed.
Fostering a Pet
Newnan-Coweta Humane Society does not have a physical shelter. All of the animals in our care stay in foster homes until adopted by their forever family. We can only help as many animals as we have space available. Pet foster parents save lives!
Expectations of pet foster parents
Provide the care for a homeless pet, as if he is your own, until he is placed for adopted. You will experience learning your visiting pet’s personality, temperament, and preferences. Your feedback will help us identify a preferred match for the best permanent family home.
