Prince had been at animal control for over two months and came from the hoarder case.  He was scheduled to be killed the next day along with 14 others.  We were able to save all 15 working with 3 other groups.  I took Prince and another white and black cat which may be his brother.  Neither were given names the whole time they were there.  I named this sweet guy Prince due to his regal personality; sweet, but reserved. Prince has an ulcer on his eye that should have been treated but was not.  He will be going to the vet to see if the damage has become permanent or possibly treatable.  Whether it is treatable or not the sweet boy will be up for adoption soon. Dee was one of many that were scheduled to die at animal control for one reason only, lack of space.  We were able to pull her hours before meeting that awful fate. Her first couple of days in the cat room at my house was very interesting.  She didn’t want any of the cats near her and she could put up a fuss.  After 3 days she decided it wasn’t worth it and made friends with everyone. This beautiful girl is so very sweet and just wants to be loved.  She is playful but would rather spend her time with you.  Don’t take just one, two is always better and we have a very special deal for two. Reese is such a loverboy. He snuggles with his foster mom everyday and lives to be showered in affection. Reese almost never made it into the foster program. He was scheduled to be euthanized and the only hope he seemed to have was going to be life as a barn cat. Introducing the lovely Pippa

Pippa was rescued from death row at CCAC in July along with her kitten.  She came into the shelter as a kitten herself in late March and was pregnant (though not noticed).  She gave birth in the shelter and and against all odds raised 2 kittens.  One of the kittens was adopted, the other was on death row with her.  She was severely underweight and her hair coat was very sparse, and was suffering from a severe upper respiratory infection.  She is now about 1 year old and healthy—a glossy black tuxedo girl and very, very sweet!  Her kitten was adopted immediately but she is still waiting for her forever home.  She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.  After all she’s been through she deserves a a fabulous home!!
